AFTER THE MOURNING is currently working on our first studio album with engineer Thaddeus Moore at Sprout City Studios. We are focusing all our attention on the writing of new material and the production of this album. Thank you for your patience.

AFTER THE MOURNING is finishing our first studio album, tentatively titled FRONT TOWARD ENEMY. The album is recorded and engineered by Thaddeus Moore of Sprout City Studios. We have written an abundance of new material, nearly enough for two albums. FRONT TOWARD ENEMY should be recorded, mixed, mastered, and replicated by the end of this year for an early 2009 release. We are looking forward to sharing our new songs with you very soon. Thank you for your patience. We believe that this mosh-worthy, tooth-spitting loudcore will be well worth the wait! AFTER THE MOURNING has encountered further setbacks. With 15 SONGS nearly complete, some backstage drama split up the band. Band members who left took with them the lyrics and music that they had written. Some songs will be scrapped entirely, while others will be rewritten and rerecorded. Every song will be recorded once again from scratch. AFTER THE MOURNING's Debut Album, FRONT TOWARD ENEMY will still be recorded and engineered by Thaddeus Moore of Sprout City Studios. It is possible at this point that I will avoid further delays by hiring a studio drummer and recording the rest of the instruments myself. In any case, the album is written and ready to record, waiting on funding, and it will be finished as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. I still believe that this mosh-worthy, tooth-spitting loudcore will be well worth the wait!
